After hearing Moshe Kasher on a few podcasts recently, I finally got to watch his stand-up special on Netflix. As I was watching it, I bought his book on my phone so I could read it as quickly as possible. I read it, on my phone, in two days - I would have read it in one, it was that good, but I started reading it at about 11 PM. The book is amazing - honest, hilarious, and incredibly fascinating.
The stand-up special is equally amazing, but the last six minutes are practically transcendent. My friends know that when I truly love something, my arms raise slowly into the air. My arms were all the way above my head for those six minutes. Watch the whole special, though. It’s great. I found out the other day that he had actually been in NY and I had missed his shows, which makes me sad, but hopefully that won’t happen again.
(I would also like to point out that Kasher is incredibly handsome and that I have a big ol’ crush on him. But that’s irrelevant to the rest of this.)
